What Were They Thinking?!

What Were They Thinking?!

We love that budding fashionista Willow Smith has a strong sense of personal style. We just hope the 12-year-old "Whip My Hair" singer decides to eventually experiment with clothing that doesn't resemble the costumes worn by her mother, Jada, in the second and third installments of "The Matrix" movie franchise. Timing really is everything for Taylor Swift and Harry Styles' now-defunct relationship. The former lovebirds were both in Cannes, France, on Saturday, Jan. 26, to attend the NRJ Awards, but the exes managed to time their appearances just right to avoid any potentially awkward run-ins.
Styles, 18, hit the red carpet with his group One Direction and Korean pop sensation Psy first, and Swift, 23, arrived 25 minutes later, sources tell Us Weekly.

"It was very carefully timed so they didn't do the carpet at the same time," an insider tells Us. "Taylor didn't do any backstage interviews and didn't use a dressing room -- she changed at the hotel because she didn't want to see Harry at any point. ...Things were timed to keep them apart and for it to not become a big media circus."
Swift dazzled in a short gold-and-white Elie Saab number with a plunging neckline on the red carpet and later changed into a tiny black lace dress with knee-high boots for her performance of her hit, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

The song, which was reportedly written about one of Swift's other exes, Jake Gyllenhaal, held extra meaning for the country crooner, who reportedly looked directly at Styles -- who was several feet away in the audience -- as she sang her breakup anthem.
"She was talking in French on the microphone saying, 'So he calls me up and he's like 'je t'aime, je 't'aime toujours … je ne sais pas [I love you, I still love you, I don't know]. No! We are never ever getting back together, like ever!'" an eyewitness told Us of her passionate performance.

Swift and Styles famously split earlier this month after reportedly having a huge argument during their holiday getaway to the British Virgin Islands.
"They had a fight," one insider told Us at the time. The British singer had "said something he shouldn't have … This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good."

In a cryptic tweet on Jan. 10, Swift hinted at a new song that she's penning about their public split.
"Back in the studio," she wrote at the time. "Uh oh..."
Styles has not directly addressed the breakup, and in a tweet late Saturday evening, thanked fans for their support as he and his band won Best International Group.

Vanilla Ice Reveals How He Got His Name

Vanilla Ice Reveals How He Got His Name

Whether showing off one of the houses he's renovated on his DIY Network show "The Vanilla Ice Project" or rapping onstage to his mega-hit "Ice Ice Baby," Rob Van Winkle is always known as Vanilla Ice.
The 45-year-old explains to omg! that the moniker was not chosen, but given to him by friends. In fact, he didn't want it to stick!
"I used to break dance at 14 years old and at first I was just called Vanilla, because of my complexion. I was the only white kid in my neighborhood that was doing it," he says. "The ice came from a dance move I had that looked like I was sliding on ice. It was a very painful move, because I would have to be on kind of my head, the side of my ear, and shoulder, but if I had a beanie hat on it would work, but without it, you'd scrape the side of your ear and the side of your face."

"Everybody loved this move that I invented in front of a mirror at my house," Ice says with a laugh. "And everybody kept saying 'Yo Vanilla, do the Ice!' And I hated it. I hated the name at first, and now I love it."

Celebrity Couples Who Met on TV Sets

For “Glee” watchers, the on-off relationship between Rachel and Finn has always been a popular storyline. So Gleeks went wild when they learned that Lea Michele and Cory Monteith quietly started dating in real life in early 2012. Nearly a year after they first hooked up, they’re still crazy in love, as evident by their recent PDA-packed trip to Hawaii. And Michele has openly gushed about her man, telling Marie Claire in 2012, “No one knows me better than Cory. Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther.”

Not long after Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder sunk their teeth into roles on “Vampire Diaries” (she’s Elena Gilbert; he’s Damon Salvatore), rumors started that they were more than just co-workers. They finally came clean – to the delight of their loyal fans – in 2012. "I didn't want to be dating one of my co-stars,” she told Seventeen. “My goal on the show was to be professional. But sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long – which I did for a really, really long time."

Katy Perry Shows Off Her Talent — in the Kitchen

Katy Perry Shows Off Her Talent — in the Kitchen

Anyone waking up at Katy Perry's house is in luck -- the singer knows what she's doing when it comes to breakfast.
Perry turned up in Los Angeles on Thursday evening to talk popchips!, the company for which she serves as brand ambassador and creative partner with her new flavor, Katy's Kettle Corn.
Decked out in a rhinestone cocktail dress and a dramatic black updo, Perry and omg! chewed the fat about snacking.
"I've actually been taking cooking classes, I started last year," she said. The songstress occasionally rents out a Los Angeles venue for friends to learn culinary art like sushi rolling.
"I'm not that experienced yet but I'm great at breakfast. I know how to make an omelet so it doesn't become a scramble. I know how to flip it so it doesn't scramble, and every woman knows that's tricky," she insisted.
Perry was just as meticulous about her chip choice, saying the balance between salty and sweet is crucial.
Something else paramount to Perry: history.
"I think the inauguration was one of the best weekends of my life," she shared of the jaunt to Washington (to which she brought beau John Mayer).
"I got a private tour of the Capitol, and just to have walked in the same places that, say, Abraham Lincoln has. I love history, if I was ever going to do anything else I'd study history," she said.
We also took to Twitter (shout out to all the #katycats), where user Fifth Harmony caught our with the question, "What is one thing you always leave the house with?"
"Baby wipes," Perry answered, "my fans might already know that but I use them for everything. They're great for face, body, fashion fixes, you name it."

Snooki Pulls a Shakira and Posts Pic of Lorenzo’s Tootsies

Snooki Pulls a Shakira and Posts Pic of Lorenzo’s Tootsies

Apparently, baby feet don't lie either.
After Shakira’s boyfriend Gerard Pique shared a cute Twitpic on Wednesday of their newborn son Milan’s tiny feet in Nike kicks, another celebrity was quick to jump on the shoe-snapping trend:Snooki.
The former “Jersey Shore” star speedily hopped on her Instagram account on Thursday and shared a pic of her 5-month-old son, Lorenzo, sporting his first pair of Jordan sneakers with her more than 2 million followers. “LORENZO'S FIRST JORDAN'S” the caption read.
The caption and photo were definitely similar to the post Pique shared with his 5 million Twitter followers. “Milan's feet!”
Snooki’s copycat ways are nothing new and this isn’t the first time the pint-sized guidette has tried to use her tiny tot to steal the spotlight. When Kate Middleton announced her royal pregnancy in December, the 25-year-old was quick to dole out her advice for a healthy pregnancy. "It's hard, but don't stress out!" Snooki advised the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, via the New York Daily News. "Enjoy your pregnancy and be excited."
Perhaps Snooki wasn’t copying the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer and her soccer star squeeze, but was simply contributing to the growing trend of celebs teasing photos of their precious bundles. When Gisele gave birth to her daughter Vivian in December, she only gave her fans a glimpse of her newborn’s hand. And Hilary Duff was one of the first celeb mamas to share a pic of her kid's tiny tootsies when she posted her son Luca’s last March.
Either way, we’ll never say no to cute snaps of celeb babies!

If Ginnifer Goodwin was looking for a home with a celebrity pedigree when she bought her house in the Hollywood Hills back in 2007, well, she found it. The two-bedroom’s roster of former tenants includes actresses Rachel Bilson and Rose McGowan, and Goodwin bought the place from “Cougar Town” star Busy Phillips.

Six years later, she’s a true star in her own right thanks to a five-season stint on “Big Love,” roles in a slew of feature films and a new gig as star of the ABC fantasy series “Once Upon a Time.” Yet, she’s remained in the same house.
“I’m not nomadic by nature,” the actress admits to Elle. “This is my sacred space, my heaven, my oasis. I want, walking in, to feel like it’s the kind of place where people stop by unannounced and it’s hard to get them to leave.”

After moving in, she turned to pal and “Big Love” co-star Jean Tripplehorn for an interior designer recommendation, who turned her on to Amy Kehoe of design firm Nickey Kehoe. Together, Goodwin and Kehoe have shopped for antiques to accent the airy house, picking out one-of-a-kind pieces like a gilded mirror and 150-year-old wallpaper. The actress has also dubbed certain rooms in the house old-fashioned names like the “salon” and “ballroom” and has hung portraits of her great aunt, a one-time vaudeville performer.
